Chief Executive Officer
Daniel Irvin founded Capital Security Advisors LLC in January 2014 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager for the Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. He has managed a predecessor to the Infrastructure Opportunity Fund for the past three years. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Irvin was the Chief Executive Officer of Free Flow Power, a hydropower development company he co-founded and of which he still serves as chairman of the board. Mr. Irvin has 25 years of experience in investment banking, trading, underwriting and asset management. His experience includes senior positions at Drexel Burnham, Paine Webber and UBS. At UBS, Mr. Irvin managed the Municipal Securities Group’s retail and institutional sales, trading, underwriting, derivatives and research areas and was a member of UBS Investment Bank’s Fixed Income Executive Committee and Board. Mr. Irvin received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Princeton University.
Chief Administrative Officer
David Carnevale joined CSA, after serving as interim Operations Manager at an international travel company. Mr. Carnevale founded a wine import and distribution company in 2007, which he operated for 3 years. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Carnevale served as office manager of a startup medical device company, which was sold to a publicly held company in 2006. Mr. Carnevale holds a BS Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. Mr. Carnevale is currently a Level I candidate in the CFA Program.
