Dennis Irvin is a senior commercial real estate executive with over 30 years of leadership and transaction experience in investment management, investment banking and advisory services. Mr. Irvin has a strong track record in principal investments including lending, structured finance, direct equity and managing co-mingled funds across all major asset classes and in all major global markets. In combination with his institutional principal and advisory experience, Mr. Irvin has successfully conceived and launched three commercial real estate financing and investment management businesses that combined entrepreneurial vision, business plan development, strategic planning and team-building.
Daniel Irvin is the Managing Partner of Capital Security Advisors, an investment advisor that manages the Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, which invests in debt and equity to finance essential infrastructure projects and public services. Prior to founding CSA, from 2007 to 2011, Mr. Irvin was the CEO of Free Flow Power, the most active developer of new hydropower projects in the US. Mr. Irvin was an investment banker in public finance from 1981 to 2007 and was responsible for raising over $50 billion of financing for municipal market borrowers throughout the US including states, municipalities, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and their independent agencies.
David Carnevale joined CSA, after serving as interim Operations Manager at an international travel company. Mr. Carnevale founded a wine import and distribution company in 2007, which he operated for 3 years. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Carnevale served as office manager of a startup medical device company, which was sold to a publicly held company in 2006. Mr. Carnevale holds a BS Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. Mr. Carnevale is a CFA charterholder and a member of CFA Society Boston, Inc.
Prior to joining CSA, Conrad Chew served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Brightstone Capital Partners. Mr. Chew is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing direct and entity-level investment opportunities as well as managing Brightstone’s existing portfolio. Prior to joining Brightstone, Mr. Chew served in an investment role at DRA Advisors, focused on value-added acquisitions throughout the U.S. Prior to that, he served in an advisory role with the Transaction Real Estate Group at Ernst & Young. Mr. Chew received his M.S. in Real Estate Finance from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University and a B.S. in Economics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Lee Cummings previously served as an Acquisitions Associate at Brightstone Capital Partners. Mr. Cummings is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing direct and entity-level investment opportunities as well as managing Brightstone’s existing portfolio. Prior to joining Brightstone, Mr. Cummings served in investment and asset management roles at DRA Advisors and Amstar Group. Mr. Cummings received a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
JEFFREY C. HYMAN
Jeff Hyman spent 20 years (1994-2014) on Wall Street in Investment Banking and Financial Advisory. During that time, he served in several managerial positions, including Global Co-Head Project and Infrastructure Finance Group at Guggenheim Partners, Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Chase and Co., and Managing Director at UBS. Since 2014, Jeff has focused on certain personal investments, projects, and business initiatives, some through his company Hyman Hemisphere LLC. Jeff has been trained as both a Financial Analyst and an Attorney.
